Physical activity is essential for a healthy mind and body, and we place great importance on providing activities to meet the needs of all residents. At St Mary’s we believe that everyone has the right to be included in all activities where possible, and we have specialist equipment that can assist you in remaining active. We are very fortunate to enjoy extensive grounds here at St Mary’s where residents can sit and enjoy our carefully cultivated gardens. Keen gardeners are very welcome to get involved in the planting of our raised flower beds.
For those who cannot move around as freely, we have lowered window sills throughout the home which enable you to enjoy the stunning views of the Warwickshire countryside from the comfort of your favourite chair. Music lovers can enjoy playing their favourite tunes on the piano located in the lounge area.
In addition to the organised events put on by the staff, we also have an Entertainments Fund Raising Committee that meets each month to discuss how to raise funds and how to spend them. If you have ideas for future events at St Mary’s then why not join the committee and get your opinions heard.
If you wish, arrangements can be made for you to visit the local church of your choice, and we also welcome visiting ministers. A Roman Catholic representative visits weekly and a Church of England ministerial visit can be made if requested.
