Nursing Care

 

At St Mary’s we are very proud of the calibre of people providing care to our residents. In addition to our support staff, we employ qualified nurses to provide a comprehensive level of medical care around the clock. Our staff are trained to the highest standards to ensure that we continue to provide the highest level of care that we can, and this includes the management and treatment of physical and mental conditions as well as the management of medicine storage and administration.

nursing-care1We have a GP who visits the home twice a week as well as a doctor on call 24 hours a day to provide emergency medical care should the nursing staff request it. If you need to attend external hospital appointments then our nursing staff will liaise with your medical team to provide continuity of care and support the existing care plans that are being implemented elsewhere.
