Management Team

In order to ensure that you and your loved ones have the very best experience during your time at St Mary’s we select highly skilled individuals to deliver the very best care that we can.

All members of staff at St Mary’s complete a comprehensive induction programme and are trained to Diploma Level 2 as standard, with further training positively encouraged.

Our staff members are a close knit team who work together to deliver a complete care package that meets your individual and changing needs.

Our teams complete regular professional development to keep them abreast of the latest developments in the care and management of the elderly, but more importantly they are passionate about meeting the spiritual and emotional well being of all residents and we endeavour to treat you as a person and not a patient.

  • To Simon, Stuart and all the staff at St Mary's in particular, all who worked on the dementia unit. We can never find enough superlatives to describe how wonderful you have been. Thank you is such a small, inadequate word to express all we feel, we will always be grateful that David spent his last years at St Mary's, surrounded by kindness and compassion.   • Thank you seems inadequate for all that you and your team have done for Mum and us over the last couple of years. You were a sanctuary for Mum when she was ill and depressed. A source of advice and help for us in times of need. We will be eternally grateful for the excellent care you gave Mum.

  • Dear Simon Quite apart from the exemplary care my mum, Mary Watson, received when she was at St Mary's, I would like to thank you and all your staff for the way they treated us, her family over the last few days of mum's life. Without exception everyone was caring compassionate and professional. The Nursing Staff explained clearly what they were doing and what we must expect. We felt involved in all aspects of mums care. Putting another room at our disposal, making the kitchen available for hot drinks and providing sandwiches and snack was much appreciated. When mum died the respect shown, especially as she was carried to the hearse, was touching and exceptional. Thank you all
