St Mary’s recognises your need for privacy and choice. Each and every resident has very unique needs and we seek to protect your physical and emotional well being whilst promoting independence and preserving dignity at all times.
We believe that it is the fine detail that makes all the difference, and this is why our attentive staff take the time to get to know you personally and find out your preferences in everything, from how you are addressed to how much assistance you require. Your privacy is protected at all times and staff are trained to knock on your door and to wait for a response.
At St Mary’s we don’t simply wish to meet your basic needs, but aim to exceed them, and we offer a bespoke level of personal care to suit you. Each room is linked to our nurse call system and we have a team of support staff and registered nurses who will attend to your requirements. In addition, we have a General Practitioner who visits the home twice a week on a Monday and a Thursday morning, as well as 24 hour medical cover should an emergency arise at any time day or night.
If appropriate, we encourage medications to be managed by residents themselves, or if you wish they can be stored securely and administered by our qualified nursing staff as per the GP’s instructions.
